CD Duplication

CDs duplication is the ideal solution for short runs of fewer than 1000 units or when lead time is a factor. The benefits of CD duplication include:

Production times vary depending on the specifics of your order, however, we can ship many jobs within 24 hours. Partial shipments are also available with CD duplication. Almost any quantity within almost any time frame, often while you wait!

CD Duplication is the digital method of creating CDs, rather than a traditional manufacturing process like CD Replication. Raw materials enter a CD press and the base of the CD is formed. Then,  instead of stamping information onto the CD, an organic layer of dye is applied. The CD is then finished off with a reflective surface and protective layers, leaving a blank recordable CD.

CD duplication requires less setup time than CD Replication. Glass masters are not created from your master - so manufacturing can begin right away. For this reason, CD Duplication is perfect for short runs from 1 to 1000 units, or almost any amount if turn around time is critical.

Ideal projects for CD-R duplication might include some of the following:

• Full retail-ready packages (insert printing & packaging) up to 1000 pieces
• Demo CDs with 1 color printing (black) from 1 to 1000
• Frequent software updates for office personnel, field representatives, customers, etc.
• Same day - 1,2 or 3 day rush projects

In-house CD duplication can save time, and can provide more control over the material than sending it to a replication plant, and for small runs CD duplication can result in significant cost savings as well.

Choose bulk, unprinted media or consider a direct-to-disc digital print, with full colour, photo-quality resolution of up to 2400 dpi.
